"When he first arrived, the boy was angry. He would steal anything of value he could put his hands on. Programming by the older kids on the street is hard to undo. Yet by 10, Brian had become a different person. We know that the love and structure Brian received here at Adonai gave him a chance at life. He was a good child. We hoped like all our children, he would be a good enough student to attend secondary school. It didn't happen. But what we were able to do is match him to a program where he could be involved in small scale pineapple farming. He also owns his own plot. He's self sufficient, and he has an opportunity for decent life."
